You create a Seattle Airbnb Experience built around a simple two-part combo tourists love: hot Belgian waffles and a guided walk through a picturesque neighborhood. Fremont is ideal because it’s quirky, easy to reach, and full of photo-friendly landmarks without requiring any cardio. Guests get food, culture, and a relaxed local vibe in under 90 minutes.
Fremont Canal Park is beautiful, flat, and transit friendly
Waffles make it unique vs other Seattle tours
Easy for families, couples, and international travelers
p.s I used to have a side hustle making waffles, which is why I chose waffles, plus they are also just super delicious, you can read about it here. Anyways, I digress…

The MVP
Start with a tight 60 minute format. Meet guests at Fremont Canal Park, serve Liège waffles (maybe include a coffee add on?), then lead them along the canal, across the drawbridge, past the Lenin statue, and up to the Troll. Keep the scripting light and fun, focusing on photo spots and quirky Seattle stories. You are now part story teller, part photographer.
Quick route, zero hills
Make waffles then bring them warm
Price at $35–$45 until reviews build

Path to $50/hr
Once you collect 10 to 15 strong reviews, raise your price into the $55–$65 range. At that point, you only need two guests per session to comfortably hit your hourly goal. Running two sessions on weekends doubles earnings without much extra effort. Add ons like coffees, Sunday markets or photo packages increase revenue without extending the tour.
Raise price after reviews
Aim for at least 2 to 4 guests per group
Add paid upgrades to lift margins

Viability:
1 [building spaceships] 🚀 to 5 [easy peasy] 😊

This is one of the easier Airbnb experiences to scale because the core work (making waffles + guiding a short walk) is simple and repeatable. You can run multiple sessions, increase price, upsell extras, and even hire helpers later if demand grows.
(As usual each business will have it’s own setbacks, and it’s all about the execution and consistency rather than just having the idea)
It’s a great day to be great!
Love, Mike 👋
