How To Turn $300 into $1k/day Using Stencils and Water

Welcome to Ghost Business 👻 Your Tuesday & Friday email, where we turn $1 into thousands building these weird but simple side hustles

Ad Pressure
Ads everywhere… I first saw this on Reddit, pressure washing ads onto the side walk for a temporary marketing campaign. It was brilliant!

Apparently it’s called Reverse Graffiti or Clean Stain. This pressured me to look into running this as a business. But why Reverse Graffiti?
Weird/uncommon side hustle 🤔
Low cost entry point 💰
Scalable 🚀

Okay but how would I start this hustle?
Buy a pressure washer $130
Buy a water tank for your trunk $136
Buy a LONG 100ft extension chord $32
Buy flower large stencils to practice (and letters) $32
Total: $330
But why flowers and letters? You’ll see 🌸

The MVP (Getting your first customer)
Peer pressure… Getting your first customer while learning this skill will be a slight challenge. But don’t worry, Ghost Business has your back! 🎉
We bought flower stencils and letters just for this reason!
Go to all the flower shops in your area and offer a free or discounted side walk stencil IF they will give you a review and let you use the image for promotional purposes.

BUT WAIT! MIKE IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?? GoSidewalk says “yes, water stencils are almost certainly legal because we’re not putting anything down on the ground, we’re simply removing dirt.”
Good enough for me 😎
Anyways, we build our book of business using flower shops for low cost flower stencils and letters.
We promote our business with fresh reviews and promotional images. This will be enough to land an interested PAYING customer (likely a flower shop)
Side Note: if you’re likin what I’m typin, kindly tap the subscribe button at your earliest convenience. It gets you weird & simple side hustles delivered to your inbox twice a week ✌️

Getting Your Next 100 Customers
Add more Ads… Growing this business could be easy (and occurring). Brand yourself as something SEO friendly: Sidewalk Ad Guy, Water Ads, Pressure Ads, you get it…

If you don’t already have one, create a landing page and start promoting on local neighborhood business pages and NextDoor.
Make yourself a stencil and place some ads around the area. (This is is very grey area, very edgy, do so at your own risk 🙈 )
Once you have the basic set up to get customers inbound, you’re mostly doing outbound work. But this is great because you can generate sales from your home.
Reach out to event organizers, pub crawls, rec sports leagues, businesses, hotels, etc.
So how much could you make doing this?
You could charge minimum $199 per customer
These take about 30 minutes to do
Add 30 minutes commute
Only working 5 hrs/ day you could make up to $1000/ day
Yes, this does come with expenses. Custom stencils can cost $60-$150, but this can be built into the fee to the customer.
Viability:
1 [building spaceships] 🚀 to 5 [easy peasy] 😊

Stencil me pretty, this would be a fun hustle to learn and scale. Very scalable by doing this in multiple cities and hiring folks for labor. All they would need is a pressure washer, water tank, and to be sent custom stencils
Fun and great way to run a lot of ads without doing much damage to the environment 🌳
(As usual each business will have it’s own setbacks, and it’s all about the execution and consistency rather than just having the idea 😉)
It’s a great day to be great!
Love, Mike 👋
