Okay, I just had my best month yet starting a $10/mo newsletter. I posted about starting it here in early July and outlined my plan.

I created kidfriendlyseattle.com and the Instagram handle @kidfriendlyseattle

Here’s how it’s going, the good, the bad and the ghostie 👇

The Breakdown

Here’s the best month yet:

• ~4600 subscribers

• ~5700 followers on Instagram

I’ve built the newsletter on Beehiiv (highly recommend if you want to do a newsletter)

In March I closed $2,138 in sponsorship deals

With an additional $35 in Beehiiv income which brings us to $2,173

Total: $2,173 in revenue in for the month of March

The summary

This is a solid side hustle right now, but still a few months away from becoming a full time gig. Other revenue streams I’m working on:

• In person events

• Punch card (just launched 👉 check it out)

• Paid event calendar

(As usual each business will have it’s own setbacks, and it’s all about the execution and consistency rather than just having the idea)
